Shrinkable Sleeve
INTRODUCTION
The Heat-Shrinkable Sleeve is composed of cross-linked polyethylene
back and special heat melt adhesive. The heat melt adhesive has
good bonding with PE back, steel pipe and Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE
layer). When heating the sleeves, the PE back shrinks, the adhesive
layer melts and closely wraps around pipe joints. It can form
together with FBE a firm and continuous anti-corrosion body. It is
resistant to corrosion, wear, impact, UV and aging, and is easy to
be applied.
Our company has been working on this product for 18 years. We use
high-quality raw materials for the production of Heat Shrink
Sleeves, which can provide superior corrosion protection for the
pipeline joints.
APPLICATION AREAS
The Heat-Shrinkable Sleeve is mainly used for pipeline corrosion
protection, sealing and corrosion protection of pipeline joints,
pipes repairing. For example Oil and gas pipelines, Pre-insulated
pipes, water transmission pipelines.

Heat shrinkable sleeve for the pipeline, developed and manufactured
by Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd, is composed of cross-linked
polyethylene backing and special heat melt adhesive. On the basis
of the 2-layer heat shrinkable sleeve, we have developed a 3-layer
structure by adding a glass fiber net between the backing and
adhesive, which gives stronger tensile strength and shrinkage. It
is resistant to corrosion, wear, impact, UV and aging, easy to be
installed.
Application:
Heat shrinkable sleeve/belt is suitable for steel pipe
anti-corrosion coating, field joint corrosion protection of steel
pipe with 3-layer or 2-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion coating,
pre-insulated pipe sealing and HDPE drainage pipeline, sewer
pipeline jointing.
